Easy to set up, good quality picture & sound

This is exactly what I was looking for and was so simple to set up. I wanted to connect my older HP540 laptop which only has a VGA output to my Sony smart TV which does not have a VGA input only HDMI and 1 scart input .

Having read a lot of the reviews about a lot of different products I finally decided that this seemed to fulfil what I was looking for.

Really glad I ordered it. Set up was a simple case of plug and play. I then checked the screen settings which allowed me to either extend or duplicate the display, both of which work great.

Sound and picture connect perfectly and no issues at all.

If you are looking for a simple, low cost solution then this certainly worked for me.

This is really useful if you have a digital only input monitor and have some older VGA output equipment (I use the older IBM laptops) you want to show on your bigger screen or projector.
There wasn't any setup needed… it just worked.
Quality of the adapter and picture are excellent.
